At Ausema, sustainability begins with what already exists.<\/p>

Antiques and vintage objects are circular by nature. They were made tolast, have already served one or more generations and can continue theirjourney for many years to come. By carefully selecting, preserving andrehoming these objects, we extend their lifespan while keeping existingmaterials and craftsmanship in circulation. <\/p>

Choosing antique and vintage means choosing reuse over new production.It reduces the need for new raw materials and resources, creates lesswaste and helps reduce the impact on nature and the environment. Insteadof replacing what already exists, we believe in preserving quality andgiving well-made objects a new place and purpose. <\/p>

Circularity also continues throughout our business. Wherever possible,we reuse clean and suitable boxes, protective materials and otherpackaging. Materials that can no longer be reused are separated forrecycling, while the use of new packaging is kept to what is necessaryto ensure that every object reaches its new owner safely. <\/p>

For us, sustainability is not a trend or a label. It is a natural partof working with antique and vintage: preserving rather than discarding,reusing rather than replacing, recycling responsibly, reducing waste andkeeping valuable materials in circulation for as long as possible. <\/p>
